We're 'rollin' fast into the Summer of 2008 and it looks as if it's gonna be very busy.... Brick Township High School and PTSA Will be holding a fundraiser on Thurs afternoon June 26 th, 2008 at 3:00pm on Keller Memorial Field to make our school more accessible for people with disabilities...The building is in need of a MAJOR upgrade which should include chair lifts, elevators, ramps, handrails, sound + visual alerts, braile, modified doors, lower counters and adjustable desks/ lap boards or wheel chair boards and handicap parking signs and improved spaces... The building is more than 50 years old! The school boards and past administrations chose to 'Simply ignore this task" for many years, even when I was a student here in 1983.....The Excuse was,"not enough money in the budget.." We NOW have the support of Mayor Steven Acropolis and Principal Dennis Fillipone!
Please join us along with my great friends and musicians,Vini "Mad Dog" Lopez (Original E-Street Band drummer), Steel Mill Retro, The Mangos, Mike Dalton Band, Outside The Box, Kidz4Kidz and DJ Rappin' Paddy Doyle....Yes, I WILL SING a few... We'll be rockin and rollin RAIN or SHINE!
